pinmesh 1.4.4 — Linux (amd64)

A personal VPN: your own machines reach each other directly, and one of them
can carry the others' internet traffic.

INSTALL

    sudo ./install.sh

It finishes without asking anything, and the service starts waiting for an
account. Then log in:

    sudo pinmesh config

Open the account row at the top and choose to log in. This machine joins
the account under its hostname; `rename` changes it later. `sudo pinmesh login`
does the same at a prompt, and asks for the name.

COMMANDS

pinmesh status what this account's devices are doing
pinmesh exit-to <device> send this machine's traffic out through it
pinmesh exit-to --off stop, and leave on this machine's own line
pinmesh offer-exit on|off let other devices leave through this one
pinmesh connect <device> build a tunnel
    pinmesh disconnect <device> drop it
pinmesh rename <device> <name> rename a device on this account
pinmesh where-wego measure which way traffic actually leaves
pinmesh help this list, from the program itself

Only `login` needs root. The rest go over a socket whose group decides who may
use them, and install.sh added the account that ran it to that group — `config`
above takes sudo only because that group applies at your next login.

⚠ A group you were just added to applies at your NEXT login. If a command
says permission denied, log out and back in — or run it once as:
          sg pinmesh -c "pinmesh status"

WHERE THINGS ARE

    /usr/bin/pinmesh the program
    /etc/pinmesh/pinmesh.env the server address
    /usr/lib/systemd/system/pinmesh.service the service
/var/lib/pinmesh this machine's identity and settings
journalctl -u pinmesh -f the log

REMOVING IT

    sudo ./uninstall.sh

That leaves the identity in place so a reinstall reclaims this machine's device
entry. It prints the two lines that remove that as well.

THIS RELEASE
